Play in the Halifax Regional Municipality and its surrounds (up to and including Porter's Lake, Enfield, Emlstale, Mount Uniacke, and Hubbards) is being restricted as of February 27, 2021 at 8am until the end of Friday, March 26, 2021. Specifically, quoting the provincial news release: "sports practices and training and arts and culture rehearsals can have 25 people without physical distancing but there can be no games, competitions, tournaments or in-person performances and there can be no spectators" .
The restriction also asks to limit non-essential travel, especially to and from the restricted areas of HRM, Hants, and Lunenburg counties. This restriction would affect disc golf players who are looking to play on different courses.
Expect an update shortly from DiscNS on which phase of the return to play protocol for ultimate is in effect.
